ADCOLOR is an organization that champions diversity and inclusion within creative industries. For the 15th annual conference, we were tasked with creating and launching its newest platform.
Pull Up is a call to action for our communities and allies to mobilize together and show up for one another. It's to recognize that one group's struggles are all of our struggles. |

Part of the campaign was an artist series, where we tapped diverse creatives for their visual interpretation of the conference theme Pull Up. I got to create a design that was produced into merch for the conference.

In my design, Pull Up is interpreted in a visual form of Konglish–the combination of Korean and English. The Korean translation of Pull Up reads let’s go together, fighting (우리 함께 가자, 다 같이 파이팅), where the Korean alphabets simultaneously spell out the English phrase. Konglish is commonly used within the Korean American community, and fighting (파이팅) is a Korean word of support and encouragement.
The design was the fastest sold out item at the conference. |

We introduced the new platform with an interactive film that provided a direct way to take action. The 200+ clickable dots throughout the film links to an initiative from historically excluded communities, allowing viewers to donate, subscribe, follow, and purchase on the spot.

In addition to the film and merch, we created a wide range of work for the conference from branding to social, website, and more.
